New Account Setting Automatically Creates Staging Activity on Salesforce Submittal Updates

VMS Sync submittals delivered to Salesforce now support automatically creating a staging activity record whenever a submittal update is detected, closing a gap where certain status and comment changes weren't always reflected as an activity on the VMS Staging Submittal.

What's New?

Recruiting teams using Salesforce as their ATS can enable a new account setting, Create Staging Activity On Submittal Change. Once enabled, VMS Sync compares each incoming submittal update against the last known values and creates a staging activity summarizing what changed, regardless of whether the update includes a written comment.

Why Does It Matter?

Salesforce automations and reporting that depend on staging activity records now stay current with every submittal update, including status or list changes that previously had no accompanying activity.
